Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with WRAD Health , are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join their supportive team as a Business Trainee. WRAD Health is a community-based alcohol and drug service that has provided care, counselling, and support to the community for more than 35 years. This traineeship allows you to gain valuable, hands-on administration experience while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business , all while contributing to meaningful work that supports community wellbeing. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced staff and develop practical skills across reception, administration, financial processes, and client support. This role is ideal for someone interested in building a long-term career in finance, administration, or the community health sector. Key Tasks Include: Greeting clients, patients, callers, and visitors, and assisting them with enquiries Learning the functions of medical software, including managing appointments, invoices, payments, and receipts Performing general administrative duties including word processing, filing, scanning, mail-outs, and document preparation Assisting with distribution of incoming mail and preparation of outgoing mail Supporting bookkeeping and financial tasks such as banking, stationery orders, and office supply management Using accounting software for accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial ledgers, journals, and preparation of financial reports Updating spreadsheets, maintaining accurate electronic records, and using a range of office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.) Assisting with basic accounting compliance tasks Demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, reliability, and positive leadership The Successful Applicant Will Have: Strong computer skills and an interest in learning bookkeeping and accounting functions Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines The ability to work as part of a team in a supportive environment Accuracy, attention to detail, and a professional attitude A genuine interest in building a career in finance and administration, particularly within the community health sector This traineeship is a great opportunity to kickstart your career while contributing to an organisation that plays a vital role in supporting community health.
