Role Overview

We are looking for a

Backend Engineer

with 1-3 years of experience to develop and maintain the backbone of our platform. As an SDE 1 (Backend), you will be responsible for designing scalable systems, creating APIs, and collaborating with frontend engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services that power the Lyfskills platform.Design and implement robust

APIs

for integration with frontend and third-party systems.Build scalable and secure systems to handle high traffic and large datasets.Work closely with the product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.Debug, diagnose, and resolve backend performance and reliability issues.Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in

Node.js

for building server-side applications.Knowledge of

Python .Strong understanding of

RESTful API design

and development.Experience with

databases , preferably

PostgreSQL

or similar relational databases.
