Senior Data Scientist at a Fintech Startup (Client of Recrud).

Overview :

Recrud, a leading recruitment firm, is excited to partner with an innovative Fintech Startup, seeking to transform the finance industry with cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights.

Our client is on the hunt for a Senior Data Scientist who is passionate about leveraging big data to drive financial innovation, improve customer experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.

This role is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced :

- Lead complex data analysis projects that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

- Develop and implement predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to forecast financial trends and customer behavior.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to integrate data insights into business processes and product offerings.

- Design, build, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that ensure efficient data collection, processing, and storage.

- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and experiments to optimize algorithms and models.

- Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through clear and compelling presentations and reports.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and fintech, and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that can benefit the organization.

- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Science role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.

- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.

- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis methods.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues requiring detailed analysis and evaluation.

- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively presenting data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative, and entrepreneurial environment.

- A passion for fintech and a strong desire to contribute to a team that aims to revolutionize the financial industry through technology and data.
