NAMTECH is hiring for multiple positions:
Professor and Program Directors:Semiconductor Manufacturing ProgramSmart Manufacturing Program
Experience and Education:Professor and Program Director for the two programs of Semiconductor Manufacturing and Smart Manufacturing will design, lead and manage the respective programs leading to the establishment of the Center of Excellence (CoE) for each, in 3-4 years of timeframe. The incumbent will deliver academic excellence through effective operation and strategic development of the students, faculty and staff and the institute. Along with this s/he will be responsible for articulating the future skilling needs of the semi-conductor industry and establishing value based strategic partnerships with private sector, relevant Government departments, other academic and research institutes in India and abroad.
PhD from a reputed National or Global University, with at least 10 years of academic experience in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering; specialization in semi-conductor manufacturing/assembly/testing or related discipline will be preferred.ORB. Tech/M. Tech or equivalent from a reputable National or Global University with total 15 years of industrial experience in relevant areas having performed leadership roles with interest in developing career in academics.The candidate should come with a demonstrated experience of a high level of creative ability in research, teaching or industry in cutting-edge technologies.Should have handled a Head of Department or leadership role with relevant administrative, along with academic/research responsibilities. Should preferably come with prior experience of designing curricula along with implementing the same. If otherwise, should have the ability to learn, adopt and implement.Should have demonstrated ability to develop trust-based relationships with industry, academia and the Government.
