This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled Frontend Software Engineer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to build high-performance, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience in modern frontend development, with additional exposure to Angular or mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Native considered a strong advantage. Requirements Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js. Build server-side rendered (SSR) and static site generated (SSG) applications using Next.js capabilities. Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs for smooth and efficient data flow. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to convert designs into refined, user-friendly interfaces. Write clean, modular, and scalable code aligned with industry standards. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold code quality. Troubleshoot issues, debug complex problems, and optimize performance. Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development. Strong expertise in React.js and the Next.js ecosystem, including SSR, SSG, routing, and API routes. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Solid understanding of RESTful API integration. Experience with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM/Yarn. Ability to write maintainable, testable, and scalable code. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have Working knowledge of Angular. Familiarity with Angular state management (e.g., NgRx). Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Experience building responsive, accessible, cross-browser compatible interfaces. Exposure to frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. Bonus: Experience with Flutter or React Native.
