The Opportunity

Planview is looking for a Product Manager that is passionate about building great products and services. The Product Manager should combine a strong focus on users and stakeholders with the technical aptitude to work with development and customers. The Product Manager must be comfortable communicating in both written and verbal terms, with internal and external stakeholders, including development teams, customer success, and customers.


What You'll Do
  • Identifying customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, collaboration with other product teams, data deep dives, and competitive analysis.
  • Participating and actively contributing to the roadmap for product to product connectors that results in a roadmap with a 12+ month time horizon that explicitly supports and drives bookings (new Annual Recurring Revenue) and customer retention (reduced customer churn)
  • Helping to define the positioning of new product capabilities and services. Be able to tell the story and demo the product.
  • Working side-by-side with other product managers and development teams within Planview to ensure that capabilities and services that you manage fit with the market requirements.
  • Management of the product throughout the lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with development teams to deliver successful products and services.
  • Being comfortable focusing on MVP, particularly when delivering innovation or competitive differentiation across our product platform. Leverage MVP to establish first-mover advantage and let customer adoption drive incremental enhancements.
  • Duties are a combined focus of inbound (product management) and outbound (product marketing). Expect to spend approximately 40% of time on outbound activities.

  • Experience with Agile Development methodology and writing user stories
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Product Manager role
  • Domain knowledge in Business or IT Architecture is a plus (not required)

You might succeed within this role if you have:

  • Basic understanding of Business or IT architecture modelling
  • Basic understanding of project portfolio management, project management and agile principles and techniques
  • The ability to identify and summarize patterns and trends in user behaviour or data analysis
  • An ability to make decisions with imperfect information while understanding the trade-offs of such decisions to stand behind them.

  • Position reports to VP of Product Management based in Stockholm, Sweden
