Job Title: Reserving Actuary
Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
Review and Improve:
Identify and address issues, errors, and inefficiencies in current processes.
Suggest and implement solutions.
Project Management & Delivery:
Scoping & Planning: Provide time estimation inputs.
Project Training: Guide and train junior team members, and learn from past projects.
Data Management: Process and reconcile complex data structures, and resolve data gaps/issues.
Analysis & Modelling: Conduct and review analysis for low to high-risk projects using actuarial and statistical techniques. Validate methodologies.
Meetings & Discussions: Participate in client meetings, and provide updates.
Peer Review: Conduct independent reviews for low-risk projects.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare project documentation, draft client presentations, and reports.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain effective working relations with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Skills:
Technical Skills:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in reserving methods, model selection, large loss/propensity modeling, and trend projection.
Software Proficiency:
MS Office
SAS
Advanced ResQ skills
