  • Proven experience architecting and deploying Camunda in a clustered, high-availability configuration in a production environment.

  • Strong expertise with the Camunda engine, REST API, and webapps (Cockpit, Tasklist).

  • In-depth knowledge of BPMN Experience deploying and managing Java applications on servers like Tomcat, JBoss, or similar.

  • Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and how Camunda interacts with them.

  • Experience with deploying applications on AWS.

  • Architect Camunda Deployment: Design the architecture for a highly available and fault-tolerant Camunda BPM cluster on AWS, considering best practices for performance and scalability.

  • Deploy and Configure Cluster:

Lead the hands-on deployment and configuration of the Camunda cluster, including the webapps (Cockpit, Tasklist), REST API, and underlying database schema in AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL).

  • Integration with AWS Services: Ensure seamless integration of the Camunda cluster with the surrounding AWS ecosystem, including load balancers, security groups, and IAM roles.

  • BPMN Workflow Implementation: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to deploy and manage BPMN 2.0 process models within the Camunda engine.

  • Security and Hardening: Implement security best practices for the Camunda platform, including securing the webapps and REST API, and configuring user authentication and authorization. - Monitoring and Operations: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for the Camunda cluster to ensure its health and performance.

  • Knowledge Transfer and Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the Camunda architecture, deployment process, and operational procedures. Provide knowledge transfer to the internal development and operations teams.

  • Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting any issues related to the Camunda platform and perform performance tuning as needed
