Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Robotics Teacher to join our faculty and help our students develop a strong foundation in robotics and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of robotics, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
Teach robotics concepts and programming to students of various age groups and skill levels.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, projects, and real-world applications.
Student Engagement and Support:
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Provide individualized support and mentorship to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
Extracurricular Activities:
Organize and supervise robotics clubs, competitions, and events to enhance students' learning experiences.
Encourage students to participate in national and international robotics competitions and guide them in their preparation.
Professional Development:
Stay updated with the latest developments in robotics and educational technologies.
Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices and subject knowledge.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff to integrate robotics education into the broader school curriculum.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A teaching credential is preferred.
Proven experience teaching robotics or related subjects to students.
Strong knowledge of robotics platforms, programming languages (e.g., Python, C++), and educational tools (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
