About the Role:
We're seeking a strategic and dynamic PR champion to join our electrifying journey As our PR Manager, you'll lead the charge in building Oben Electric’s brand awareness, securing impactful media coverage, and safeguarding the reputation in the ever-evolving electric motorbike landscape. Lead our communication strategy, crafting narratives and navigating media landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Craft and execute comprehensive PR strategies, aligned with company goals, develop proactive plans to position our brand as a leader in the electric motorbike revolution.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers across print, online, broadcast, and social media spheres.
Craft captivating press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials that resonate with diverse audiences.
Manage and participate in press conferences, product launches, and media events, ensuring flawless execution and maximum impact.
Proactively identify newsworthy opportunities, capitalize on positive angles, and address potential media challenges head-on.
Monitor brand sentiment, swiftly address any negative press coverage, and implement effective crisis communication strategies.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including analysts, investors, and advocacy groups, fostering positive brand perception.
Manage and optimize our social media presence, building a vibrant online community and amplifying brand messaging.
Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends and best practices, constantly innovating and refining your PR game.
Collaborate seamlessly with marketing, sales, and product development teams, ensuring integrated communication efforts.
Measure the success of PR campaigns and report on results, demonstrating the impact of your strategic initiatives.
Be prepared for occasional travel as needed to represent the company at industry events and build key relationships.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within PR agency handling technology or automotive industry clients.
Proven track record of securing positive media coverage in national and regional media outlets.
Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, thriving in both fast-paced and pressure-filled situations.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Passionate about electric vehicles and the future of mobility.
Bonus Points:
Experience working with startups or fast-growing companies.
Knowledge of the electric motorbike industry.
Strong relationships with key media contacts in the industry.
Proficiency in content creation
Experience with influencer marketing.
