STANDARDISED JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE : Shift Maintenance Engineer Electrical

REPORTS TO : Manager Maintenance

A. KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Ensure Availability and Reliability of production machines & other plant machineries, operation & maintenance of utilities services, power generation & distribution, plant engineering for utilities systems and production machines.

B. PROFILE OF THE JOB HOLDER

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • PLC & Drives Programming mandatory, (Siemens and Mitsubishi) is preferred.
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision.
  • Willing to work in Shifts.

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling of shifts and Manpower management.
  • Ensure efficient & reliable operation of power plant, Distribution.
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Ensure maximization of predictive and preventive maintenance and reduction in down time.
  • Achieve positive trend in MTTR & MTBF.
  • Plan for Channel closure and Annual shutdown activities of factory.
  • Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic Circuits, Modifications.
  • PLC Programming Siemens and Mitsubishi (Mandatory) and trouble shooting.
  • Knowledge about Digitalization, Power BI, Kepware, Data analytics.
  • Corrections related to process capability study.
  • Spares Management - Vendor development, sourcing equivalent substitute, maintaining stock.
  • Support SKF Production System deployment - 5S, KAIZEN and other lean tools, practices.
