Key Responsibilities:Financial Statement analysis & modeling: Financial Statement analysis & modeling: Expected to have knowledge of financial statement Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc. Deep understanding of adjustments to various sectors, capital structure analysis, financial KPI's, etc. Good working knowledge of financial models - DCF, Merger Model, Accretion /Dilution / etc.Supporting clients on multiple industries including oil & gas, banking, insurance, asset management, fintech among other industries and performing valuation, preparing pitch books, investment thesis, and company focused discussion documents, studying & analyzing different businessIdentify attractive opportunities: Identify emerging and high-growth sectors for investment through market analysis, such as, market size, historical and projected growth rates, emerging market trends, key drivers, etc. Deep dive into specific companies to understand core strengths, strategies, financial health, outlook etc.M&A & relative valuation support: Identify and analyze potential targets through analysis of markets, products, services, financial synergies, business model analysis and its robustness, competitive positioning, etc. Identifying the right value of the target through trading and transaction compsPrivate Equity market and fund intelligence: Understanding of Private Equity work including their fundraising, exit strategies, portfolio valuation, portfolio monitoring. Benchmarking various deal opportunities in specific sectors including Infrastructure funds, real estate funds, among others.Required Background:CFA, Master's degree/ MBA in Finance / CA2-6 years of experience in M&A, Valuation and Strategic ResearchExcellent at using MS PowerPoint;

command over MS Excel to process varied data sets in spreadsheets (Pivots, charting etc.) is highly desirableStrong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skills in research and consulting environment. Adept at synthesizing information to generate insightsKnowledge of various databases (Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)
