Job Description - Power BI Report Developer

Location: Permanent WFH/Remote/Chennai/Vadodara/ Navi Mumbai locations

Experience: 5+ Years

Contract : 12 Months (Candidate can work as a freelancer or parallelly with their current job)

Shift Timing : Australian Shift

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Analyze Existing Reports.

- Elicit requirements for report development.

- Document Requirements to the agreed Standard.

- Develop PowerBI Reports aligned with Reporting Standards.

- Document published reports and added reports to the report catalogue. Work in line with Data Governance framework

- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement

- At all times, comply with the relevant legislation in the regions where organization operates.

- Comply with all Organization policies and procedures.

- Always uphold the highest standards of integrity.

- Additional duties as required

- Actively promote and demonstrate a high level of communication and customer service by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.

- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure they remain engaged and that expectations are managed.

- Create appropriate documentation as required for both the Data & Analytics team as well as for business engagement

- Be proactive in consistently demonstrating and upholding Organization's core values.

- Self-motivated to study in areas required to contribute to the team and program goals. Bachelors' degree with a relevant focus Experience in PowerBI is essential.

- Experience in writing DAX.

- Experience in semantic model design in PowerBI.

- Significant experience in requirements elicitations and documentation.

- Experience with the Report Development life cycle.

- Comfortable and confident leading and facilitating workshops with the business.

- Significant experience developing PowerBI Reports

- Experience with CI/CD process and tools and sound knowledge of software engineering principles.

- Experience using agile delivery framework (e.g. SCRUM / SAFe)

- Self-motivated individual able to effectively prioritise and to work as directed.

- Ability to build strong working relationships and a demonstrated willingness to be a team player.

- Demonstrated commitment to achieving objectives through the provision of a highquality service that meets or exceeds expectations.

- Demonstrated willingness to share ideas and perspectives and encourage others to do the same.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills to form positive relationships with team members and customers and deal with issues of a sensitive nature.

- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills in successfully dealing with customers and difficult situations

- Commitment to expand and develop initiative, self-management, and problem solving skills.
