Job Title: French Teacher (IGCSE / Cambridge Curriculum)

Location: Mysore, India

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced French Teacher to join our team at an IGCSE / Cambridge school in Mysore. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience teaching French specifically within an IGCSE educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging French language lessons in accordance with the IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum standards.
  • Create a conducive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the French language and culture.
  • Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in French or related field.
  • Teaching certification or qualification recognized by IGCSE / Cambridge (e.g., PGCE, CELTA, TESOL, DELTA).
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in French within an IGCSE school environment.
  • Proficiency in English and French languages, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Passion for teaching and nurturing the academic and personal development of students.
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools and resources is an advantage.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is approximately Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- per month, commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, previous salary, and performance in the interview.
