Market Research & ScoutingIdentify and evaluate suitable industries based on the company’s requirements.Conduct market research to understand rental rates, availability, and demand-supply dynamics.2. Site EvaluationAssess the location, accessibility, infrastructure, safety, and legal status of godown properties.Inspect potential properties for compliance with zoning laws, safety regulations, and operational suitability.3. Vendor/Owner NegotiationLiaise with property owners, brokers, or agencies to negotiate lease/rental terms.Secure the best commercial terms while ensuring contract compliance.4. Documentation & Legal ComplianceOversee lease agreements, registration, and related legal documentation.Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., fire safety, pollution, zoning permits) are met.5. Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with internal departments (e.g., legal, finance, operations) during the acquisition process.Maintain reports on current leases, upcoming expirations, renewals, and new requirements.6. Cost OptimizationEnsure cost-effective leasing without compromising on operational quality or safety.Identify opportunities to consolidate, downsize, or sublease underutilized godown space.Key Skills & Competencies:Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operationsStrong negotiation and communication skillsReal estate/legal documentation understandingAnalytical thinking and cost-benefit analysisVendor managementFamiliarity with local warehousing regulations and complianceTravel-ready and location scouting expertiseEducational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related fields.MBA or diploma in Logistics/Real Estate Management is a plus.Knowledge of property laws and commercial leasing preferred.Experience:3–8 years in warehouse leasing, logistics real estate, or property acquisition.Experience in fast-moving industries like FMCG, E-commerce, or 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) is beneficial.Typical Employers:E-commerce companies (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart)Logistics firms (e.g., Delhivery, DHL, Blue Dart)Manufacturing and FMCG companiesReal estate firms specializing in industrial leasingWarehousing and cold storage providersContact details:
