Job Description :

- We is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development.

- The person will see the "big picture" and create Architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.

- Strong technical background and excellent hands-on IT skills are required for this role.

- The person should be experienced in designing and possess ability to develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions.

- The person is responsible to provide a Framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.

Why do we need the Role :

- There have been many gaps observed recently on many projects on the Architecture and resulting scalability / modifiability of applications.

- To address this, we need strong candidate to take care of the Architecture from the beginning of the project.

- The person should take part in early on business requirements discussions and UX concepts phases to ask the right questions and also to suggest changes as needed in order to come up with a scalable and optimal solution.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

- Define code Architecture decisions to support high-performance and scalable applications with minimal footprint. Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.

- Address and improve any technical issues / drawbacks on existing applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

- Collaborate well with Engineers, Architects, Managers to design and create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems. Should be a team-player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

- Should be hands on willing to contribute to development if required for critical cases.

- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software applications.

- Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and UI of desired product.

- Develop high-level Product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. - Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to Coding standards.

- Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team.

- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.

- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.

- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, scalability etc.

- Approve final product before launch.

Education and Experience :

- 10+ years or more development experience with a track record of technical competence, resilient code, and maintainable software.

Competencies :

- (Primary) Experience in programming languages like Java, JEE, JavaScript, Python, PHP (Primary)

- Experience in frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Node JS etc (Primary)


- Experience in UI frameworks like Angular, React, jQuery or other JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks

- (Desired) Experience in middle tier, including Web Services, RESTful Web Services

- (Desired) Experience in UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Leadership :

- Overseeing the development of a project and coordinating teams of developers to meet design standards requires significant leadership.

- He / She must be able to juggle the needs and demands of projects and teams.

- Ability to delegate work efficiently so that deadlines are met without hassles while also managing multiple projects at the same time.

- Problem-solving & conflict Resolution

- Managing and coordinating all the elements that go into a successful application project requires strong problem-solving skills - both technical and human.

- Ability to determine client needs and ways of thinking to optimize their experience by coming up with possible solutions to solve a problem and make the right decision.

Communication :

- He / She must clearly explain the mission, deadlines, and expectations.

- Effective communication skills to ensure technical information is conveyed with accuracy.

- Coaching & inspiration

- If expectations aren't being met, must coach, and inspire team members to achieve.

Organization :

- Since technical architects set the roadmap for development, being organized is key.

- Often large-scale and intricate UML diagrams are necessary, which requires a systematic and organized way of thinking.

Prioritizing :

- Technical architects need to quickly prioritize tasks and juggle team members assignments throughout a product's development.

Detailed thinking :

- In any development project, there are a significant number of details that must be managed correctly. This requires extreme attention to detail to make sure the project code meets objectives and thus elevates the client's experience.

Creative thinking :

- The technical architect must move teams forward to accomplish a build regardless of the obstacles. This takes the ability to think creatively to find alternate solutions or creative ways to solve problems.

Scalable thinking :

- Scalability should be included by default anticipating changes in requirements. System should be able to handle future requirements with minimal modifications / changes.

- Architecture Documentation : Track the completeness and accuracy of architectural documentation.

- Adherence to Design Principles : Measure how well the project adheres to architectural design principles and best practices.

- Code Maintainability : Use metrics like cyclomatic complexity, code duplication, and code churn to assess the maintainability of the codebase.
