DevOps Engineer

Experience 2+yrs-------------Job Description:Sparksupport, one of the leading Devops consulting companies for the devops engineer who are strong with the core skills of Linux/AWS/Ansible/docker/docker-swarm. Kubernetes is an added advantage. The infra we are managing has got hundreds of containers and it is effectively managed using ansible, Git, SVN, jenkins, jira, icinga etc. Deploying and rebuilding the stack is a daily affair. We want someone who has got enough exposure already and is not in a learning mode of docker/ansible. The environment you will be working in will boost your knowledge and ability to handle large infrastructures. We have a flat organisational hierarchy and our in-house team is highly co-operative. Your hands are not tied for access and permissions, but only demand will be to complete the assigned tasks efficiently. We are operating in hybrid mode so working between Home and Office will give you a life-work balance. Work time is during Central Europe time and partially during their off-peak hours which will be our day time itself.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCandidates will be remotely managing the client infrastructure located at various datacenters in Europe and US.Closely work with the on-site devops team on a daily basis.Candidates should deploy the applications developed by the clients containerize/dockerize and orchestrate using docker swarm/Kubernetes.Candidates will have to use continuous integration and delivery pipelines using the latest tools and platforms, Monitor and support our infrastructure in the servers, automate the deployment and ensure the high availability of the entire application.Candidates should possess the ability to review deployments and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities, and manage technical operations.Closely work with team on building and implementing automation pipelines for deployment of MicroservicesRequired SkillsExperience with Ansible, templating, playbook (Terraform added advantage)Experience in Linux Administration (Certified candidates preferred)Experience in docker system, docker-swarm (Kubernetes added advantage, they will get separate projects)Experience in cloud providers like AWS/GCP (AWS certifications preferred)Experience in versioning tool like Git/GithubExperience CI/CD tools like jenkins/TravisExperience in scripting Bash/PythonGood understanding of Web applicationsGood communication skills in English-------------
