SRE with Automation Lead

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead with strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) , automation frameworks, and enterprise monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will design, build, and manage automated solutions to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead automation initiatives across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting . Implement SRE practices including incident management, root cause analysis, SLIs/SLOs , and reliability engineering. Administer and optimize monitoring platforms such as: Splunk (logging, dashboards, alerts) AppDynamics (APM) ThousandEyes (network monitoring) BigPanda (event correlation & incident management) Build custom dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and automated remediation workflows. Integrate monitoring tools into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps ecosystem. Work with AI Ops platforms like Amelia / IPSoft for intelligent automation and event-driven operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve observability, performance, and uptime. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and reliability assessments. Provide L3 support for automation and monitoring-related issues. Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and automation runbooks. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong expertise in SRE frameworks , observability, and reliability engineering. Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools: Splunk AppDynamics ThousandEyes BigPanda Proficiency in Python , Ansible , Shell scripting , and automation frameworks. Experience with AI Ops tools such as Amelia / IPSoft . Strong understanding of ITIL processes, incident and problem management. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Good to Have: Experience with Kubernetes/containers. Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). Experience in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform). Certifications in SRE, monitoring tools, or cloud platforms.
