This role is essential to the delivery of stable, scalable, and responsive virtual lab environments used in technical training courses across the globe.As a Lab Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to manage and support a broad set ofWindows-basedlab environments. You’ll also work withLinux-based VMsas needed (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS), troubleshoot live lab issues, and automate repetitive tasks using Python.This position is ideal for someone with a solid Windows sysadmin background who also enjoys writing automation scripts and supporting lab environments in a fast-moving, education-focused setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration (Windows-Focused)Provision, monitor, and maintainWindows Server-basedlab environments (2016, 2019, 2022)Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, RDP access, and Windows networkingSupport Windows-based services and applications used in training labs (e.g., domain controllers, firewalls, management consoles)Snapshot, clone, and manage virtual machines inVMware ESXi/vCenterenvironmentsManage access controls, firewall rules, and networking for multi-tenant training environmentsAssist with Linux VM configuration and troubleshooting where required (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)Provide operational support for trainers and students using remote labs globallySupport remote access platforms (Guacamole, VPN, RDP gateways, SSH)Python Automation (Secondary)Develop and maintain Python scripts for:Automated lab deployment and teardownScheduling, resource allocation, and reporting toolsMonitoring and health checks of lab environmentsIntegration with APIs (e.g., vCenter, scheduling systems, MongoDB)Maintain and document internal tools and scripts that streamline lab operationsWork with internal dashboards and scheduling systems to enhance functionality and integrationEssential qualifications and experienceSystem Administrator with strong Windows Server experienceStrong VMWare Virtualization ExperienceGood Python coding & scripting skills – advance levelJoining:- Ideally “Immediate or 15 days” noticeLocation:- Bangalore, Whitefield, IndiaWork Environment:- Work from officeSalary:- Good Salary & benefitsNext steps1.Apply nowby sending your CV and covering letter answering the above questions and providing your email address and contact number to Red Educationon our social channels to learn more about the company and see the latest job ads:LinkedIn: / X:
