Job Description – Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Location: Singanallur ,Coimbatore
Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Supply Chain Head

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of goods and services required for smooth business operations. The role involves vendor management, negotiation, ensuring timely availability of materials, and maintaining cost efficiency while adhering to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms (price, quality, delivery, payment).
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for inventory management.
  • Maintain and update vendor database with accurate information.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Track and follow up on pending orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with accounts department for vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors for long-term collaboration.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and documentation for management review.
  • This role involve traveling for material procurement - candidate who are ok with travelling can apply.

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Freshers with basic experience in production can apply.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of vendor sourcing and contract management preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹22,985.84 per month
