Solar Rooftop Plant O&M Engineer/Sr. Engineer
is responsible for the operation, Repair & Maintenance of solar power Plant. The Engineer has to ensures that the solar PV plants are operated safely, efficiently and in accordance to generation benchmarks of the company.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure all works are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards.Perform regular maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar PV systems, including electrical (AC & DC) and mechanical components.General maintenance of plant including MMS and Roof.Operation and maintenance of MCS.Fault identification and rectification of SCB/SMB/Inverter/transformer/Panel/Meter/cables/DC and AC system.Prepare DGR for the plant.Prepare RCA, CAPA.Benchmarking and analysis of KPI such as Generation, Inverter performance, losses, auxiliary power consumption, PA, PR etc to maximize plant efficiency.Ensuring compliance to Preventive Maintenance schedule.Planning and management of spares, Man power, Budget.Resource allocation and optimum utilization of resource.Perform string monitoring and completing module cleaning targets.Monitor plant daily through SCADA/ Portal.Conducting monthly JMR and Payment follow up.Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual checks, tests and calibration to verify proper operation and conditions.Executing any breakdown maintenance.Coordinating with OEMs for spares, AMC, warranty and service requests.Contract Management with Vendor/OEM.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain accurate records of operation & maintenance and repairs.Provide detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.Upkeep of SCADA and WMS.Verification of module cleaning as per schedule.Coordination with local communities, Contactors, Suppliers.Communicate effectively with stakeholders.Provide detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
Education Qualification:Diploma or Degree in EE/EEE/EC
Experience:Minimum 2-8 years or more experience in solar O&M.
Key Skills:Good understanding of PV systems and Electrical Concepts of AC & DC.Well aware about rooftop safety practices.Well Proficient with hand and power tools and instruments used in solar Plants.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in Indoors & outdoors in various weather conditions at site.Comfortable working on rooftops.Domain knowledge of MS office etc.Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.Good communication skills.
Salary:Salary based on experience and qualifications.
