Purpose of the role:


The Senior Software Developer works as part of a self-organising Agile/Kanban team responsible for building websites, APIs and frameworks that power a portfolio of websites. The Senior Software Developer works within the team using a variety of web technologies (mostly backend), on highly visible website projects, to deliver a cutting-edge gaming experience to our users.


You will be responsible for:


The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:


· Coding and developing features for new and existing products particularly with regards to Umbraco specialty.


· Upkeep and maintenance of existing products.


· Knowledge sharing/documentation - knowledge of best practice.


· Taking part in team rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.


· Taking part in team activities such as collaborative-development and code-reviews.


· Taking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentation.

You will have (Essential skills):


Highly proficient in 5 of the following criteria:


· Extensive experience with Umbraco and Umbraco Development


· Extensive Commercial Experience with C# and ASP.NET


· Experience with a cloud-based environment.


· Experience with SQL


· Commercial experience working in an Agile environment.


· Experience with unit testing and TDD principals.


· Thorough knowledge of OOP, coding fundamentals and design patterns.


· Strong communication skills.


Other essential requirements:


It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):


· CI/CD Experience (Azure DevOps or other).
