Role Overview:

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications.   • Technological Innovation:

  • Backend Development:

    • Design, develop, and deploy backend services focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
    • Take end-to-end responsibility for the services owned by your team, including participating in an on-call rotation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

    • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Professional Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Proven experience as an Engineer designing, developing, and maintaining API-driven solutions.
    • Experience in the e-commerce domain is an advantage.
    • Available to work in the CET timezone.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in PHP (Symfony).
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
    • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Memcache, Redis.
    • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like ELK, Jaeger, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • Engineering Practices:

    • Passionate about agile methodologies, continuous delivery, test-driven development, traceability, and observability.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, high integrity, and great attention to detail.
    • A growth mentality, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment.
    • Ability to adapt, change, and grow quickly as the organization scales.
