Deputy General Manager

Purpose This role requires for driving procurement activities related to integration, managing new range product procurement, and leading digital transformation initiatives within the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration:
Lead the procurement integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, working closely with cross-functional teams to harmonize procurement processes, systems, and supplier relationships. Develop and execute integration plans to achieve synergy targets, streamline procurement operations, and optimize supplier contracts and pricing.2. New Range Products Procurement:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for specialized products and services in pipes & fittings, including but not limited to technology, innovation, and niche markets. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and market trends, and identify opportunities to enhance value and quality in specialized product sourcing.3.

Implement supplier collaboration initiatives to drive innovation, improve supplier diversity, and mitigate supply chain risks.5. Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop talent within the function through training, coaching, and performance management, ensuring the team has the skills and capabilities to deliver on strategic objectives. Drive digital transformation initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technologies such as AI, machine learning, automation, and analytics to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and drive cost savings. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience of 10 plus years in procurement leadership roles, with a focus on integrations, Greenfield, New range extensions and digital procurement. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and emerging trends in specialized products and digital procurement. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
