Production And Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory and Process Manager with a background in the consumer electronics industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in inventory management and process optimization within a consumer electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory levels, developing and implementing efficient factory processes, and ensuring smooth operations to meet production and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs specific to consumer electronics.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures tailored to electronic components and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and manage stock rotation to prevent obsolescence, particularly in fast-evolving technology products.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies.
2. Process Management
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement within the context of consumer electronics production.
- Develop, document, and implement standardized procedures and best practices.
- Monitor production workflows and adjust processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Train staff on new procedures and ensure compliance with established processes.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize inventory management software to track and report on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status and process performance for senior management.
- Analyze data to forecast future inventory needs and support production planning.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with production, quality control, and procurement teams to align inventory and production processes.
- Coordinate with the finance department to manage budget and cost control related to inventory and production processes.
- Serve as a liaison between the factory floor and upper management to communicate goals and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in inventory management and process optimization in the consumer electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and train team members.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
