Job Title: Technical Lead- Network Security
Mandatory Skills:
9 to 12 Yrs relevant work experience in Firewalls (Primary- Palo Alto 5 to 7 Yrs & Checkpoint 3+ yrs)
Should have worked on firewall migration projects, firewall rule optimization audits
Good to have- knowledge or exp Proxy & SSL communication.
Good to have exp in sandboxing, Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA)
Good to have experience on SASE (Prisma Access/ Zscaler)
Job Description:
As technical expert on datacenter networking and security technologies
Analysis and diagnosis of complex network security problems
Manage and support multi-vendor network security solutions
Support the team on Priority 1 incidents to resolve within SLA
Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on network and security
Pro-actively monitor and drive service delivery to clients from the Operations Centre and / or CoE
Ensure maximum up-time and the accurate and early response to client operational issues.
Should have knowledge on create, delete, modification of:
-Security zone protection policies, interface policies, management profiles etc.
-Layer 3/4 port-based access list & layer 7 app-based policies with security profiles.
-Identity based policies and time-based policies.
-High complex security rules.
-UTM profiles
-DoS protection policies
-bandwidth (QoS) policies.
-SSL Decryption.
-Destination NAT, VIP, hair-pin NAT such complex NAT policies.
-Advanced S2S IPSec Tunnel with dynamic routes such as BGP.
-Advanced remote access VPN policies – roaming profiles, split tunnel, multiple group policies, client posture check config etc. with external identity integrations.
-external / third-party identity federation and identity integrations and RBAC configurations.
-system / third-party certificate generation, installation and configurations.
-Dynamic routing protocols- OSPF, BGP.
-Active/Passive & active/active configurations.
-Clustering full mesh high availability configurations.
Design security policies of as-is security architecture, applications traffic flows are within scope.
SME should collaborate with customer IT personnel to refine the security policies such as removal of unused rules, threat protection profiles and so on.
Security certifications like PCNSE / CCSE / Fortinet NSE4 / CEH will be added advantage
Knowledge of security related products like next generation firewalls (PAN, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint etc) is compulsory.
Should have broader context and understanding of managed network services
Must have service mindset and empathy. Must deal with a level of ambiguity, chaos and apparent stubbornness from customers, and manage around it by thinking through the issue or request from the customer’s perspective to drive to a reasonable conclusion
Must have prior experience of onsite-offshore delivery model and should have directly worked with US/European customers or colleagues
Communication skills – excellent Written, reading comprehension, listening and Verbal communication
