As a Carbon Footprint Consultant, you'll guide clients in integrating sustainability into their operations, develop strategies for carbon reduction, and manage GHG reporting. Your role involves leading sustainable consulting by quantifying carbon footprints, assessing environmental impacts, creating mitigation plans and ensuring regulatory compliance within various industries.

Responsibilities

- Create sustainability practice system, methods and assessment SOPs- Collaborate with clients to integrate sustainability into their operations.- Help clients create viable business models that address social and environmental impacts.- Use methodologies and tools (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO) to quantify carbon footprints.- Estimate carbon footprints for supply chains, transportation, and manufacturing.- Develop strategies for carbon reduction, incorporating renewable energy and efficiency.- Conduct risk assessments for environmental impacts and regulatory compliance.- Create strategies for reducing emissions with offsetting and green technologies.- Manage reporting and documentation of carbon footprints and GHG emissions.- Perform life cycle assessments to evaluate environmental impacts from production to disposal.

Skills

- Strong foundation in GHG concepts, including emission sources and impacts.- Proficient in carbon footprint reporting and compliance with standards such as GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, and ISO 14067 and other regulatory requirements.- Expertise in Sustainability and ESG practices within Manufacturing.- Possess strong consulting and technical skills to deliver high-quality services, with experience in ESG/Sustainability-related digital tools and systems as an added advantage.- Demonstrate excellent research, report writing, and communication skills, with proficiency in essential research tools.- Ability to plan and facilitate workshops with client executives, especially in the context of large transformation projects.- Experienced in managing transformation engagements, with the capability to benchmark client requirements against industry-leading practices and identify pain points and opportunities.
