What you'll do

Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of New Relic platformsCoach and mentor a committed, cross-functional group of engineersDrive technology decision making, process efficiency, and engineering excellenceEnsure the success of software projects through the planning and execution phases within and across teamsCollaborate with multi-functional teams to align product and business goalsImplement processes and methodologies that foster operational excellenceServe as a domain expert in areas of data governance, transparency, and accuracy for New Relic's consumption-based business model.Drive the recruitment, training, and development of top-tier talent in the region.This role requires

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or relevant fieldsProven track record as a technology individual working in a fast paced environmentPrior experience with Data Engineering platforms and data processing at scaleCapable of diving deep and understanding the technical implications and risks of a decisionStrong skill set in SQL, Data Modeling, and DataBase technologiesHands on experience with a high level language such as PythonExperience managing on-call rotations, dev-ops practices, and /7 operationsGetting things done in a distributed, large-scale, and fast-growing environmentBonus points if you have
