Control Room Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous monitoring of CCTV cameras to detect and report any suspicious activity.
  • Fire panel monitoring and immediate escalation/response to fire or safety-related alarms.
  • Handling the Public Announcement (PA) system for routine and emergency communication.
  • Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for all unusual or emergency situations.
  • Coordinate with security staff, facility management, and emergency response teams as required.
  • Ensure all systems (CCTV, fire panel, PA system) are in proper working condition and report malfunctions.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during emergencies and routine operations.
  • Work effectively in rotational shifts (3 shifts, 24x7 operations).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Graduation OR Diploma (Electronics / Electrical / Fire & Safety / IT preferred).
  • Additional certification in Security Systems / CCTV Operations / Fire & Safety Management will be an added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in control room operations, CCTV monitoring, or security systems.

Key Skills:

  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of security, fire safety, and emergency protocols.
