As we expand our team, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior C/C++ Firmware Developer to lead the development of our next generation of products.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated firmware developer with a strong background in C/C++ programming. This is a hands-on technical role where you will have the opportunity to work on existing products while also leading the development of new solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our firmware team, driving innovation, and enhancing our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for radio communication devices using C/C++.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and optimize firmware for various platforms.
- Lead the architecture and design of new firmware features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Document firmware design, development processes, and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with microcontrollers and processors (e.g., ATMEL, NXN). - MANDATORY
- Proficiency in hardware-software integration and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RF, RJ45).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing and code quality tools (e.g., Cppcheck, Unity).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
