We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep experience in Laravel and complex system architecture. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of scalable backend development, database optimization, and real-time data systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust APIs, managing large datasets, and ensuring high performance and reliability across all backend services.⸻Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Laravel. - Work extensively with Laravel Queues, Events, and Jobs to handle asynchronous processes efficiently. - Optimize and maintain large-scale MySQL databases, including query optimization for millions of records. - Integrate and manage Firebase Realtime Database for live data synchronization. - Collaborate closely with front-end and mobile developers to deliver seamless, high-performance applications. - Implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of backend services. - Participate in system architecture planning and contribute to technical decisions.⸻Requirements - 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Laravel (PHP 8+). - Proven experience with Queues (Redis, SQS, or similar) and Event-driven architecture. - Strong expertise in MySQL — complex queries, indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization. - Hands-on experience with Firebase Realtime Database and related integrations. - Solid understanding of API development, authentication, and data security. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail.⸻Nice to Have - Experience with Microservices architecture. - Familiarity with AWS / Google Cloud. - Knowledge of WebSockets, Redis, or real-time notification systems.⸻What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience. - Flexible working hours and environment. - Opportunity to work with a talented, passionate, and fast-moving team. - Room for growth and continuous learning.
