Job Title: WordPress Developer - Website Assistant / Manager (UI/UX + Animations) Location: Bangalore About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer - Website Assistant / Manager who combines strong development capabilities with exceptional UI/UX design expertise. The ideal candidate will own the full website lifecycle, from design and development to optimization, user experience, and marketing integrations. This role requires someone who can create visually stunning, conversion-driven digital experiences with advanced motion design and modern SEO strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Website Ownership & Management - Own the end-to-end management of the WordPress website including updates, enhancements, performance, and governance. - Plan and execute website improvements aligned with business goals, marketing initiatives, and brand standards. - Manage content workflows, page publishing, quality checks, and accessibility compliance. - Oversee hosting, uptime monitoring, security hardening, backups, and version control deployments. 2. UI/UX Design & Visual Experience - Lead design efforts to create intuitive, engaging, and visually rich user experiences. - Transform Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress pages. - Implement advanced interactive elements, animations, micro-interactions, GSAP, Lottie, and scroll-based transitions. - Maintain and evolve the website design system, ensuring consistency in grids, spacing, typography, and visual styles. - Conduct UX audits using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics to enhance user flows and conversion paths. 3. WordPress Development - Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and reusable components. - Integrate third-party APIs, forms, analytics tools, and marketing platforms. - Manage cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. - Optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, minification, CDN configuration). 4. SEO, Analytics & Optimization - Implement technical SEO including schema markup, structured data, and site architecture improvements. - Apply generative SEO strategies for content optimization using AI-driven techniques. - Monitor performance metrics using GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, Hotjar, and similar tools. - Perform A/B tests, experiment with UX variations, and improve funnel conversions. 5. Digital Campaign & Marketing Integrations - Build and manage landing pages, microsites, and marketing assets for campaigns. - Integrate and track marketing pixels, UTMs, and automation workflows. - Collaborate with marketing teams to improve lead generation, CRO, and campaign success. 6. CRM & Marketing Automation ( Good to have) - Integrate website forms and journeys with Salesforce CRM / Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other automation tools. - Ensure accurate tracking, lead capture, and funnel attribution. - Work with marketing teams to optimize digital journeys and nurture flows. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills - 4–8+ years of experience in WordPress development and website management. - Expertise in custom themes, plugins, PHP, MySQL, and Gutenberg development. - Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Tailwind/Bootstrap. - Experience with animation libraries: GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Lottie, Framer Motion (preferred). - Experience using tools like Google Analytics, and Figma. - Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment workflows. - Understanding of on-page SEO and structured data implementations. - Knowledge of email template design and HTML email compatibility. - Good server knowledge, Understanding of hosting, DNS, SSL, CDN, AWS/cPanel environments. - Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills. Design & UX Skills - Strong proficiency in UI/UX design principles, layouts, spacing, grids, typography, and visual hierarchy. - Ability to produce pixel-perfect UI from Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch. - Experience conducting UX audits, analyzing behavior metrics, and optimizing journeys. SEO & Analytics - Strong knowledge of technical SEO, schema, and Core Web Vitals. - Experience with GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, Hotjar, heatmaps, and funnel analytics. - Familiarity with generative/AI-based SEO strategies (good to have). Marketing & CRM ( Good to have) - Experience with digital campaigns and creating high-conversion landing pages. - Hands-on experience integrating or managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce CRM (added advantage). - Understanding of marketing automation, segmentation, and tracking workflows. Soft Skills - Creative thinker with attention to detail and design finesse. - Strong project management, organization, and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, product, and leadership teams. - Ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of email template development and HTML email compatibility. - Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, or other no-code/low-code tools. - Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize alternatives). - Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
