Job Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, planning, and executing cybersecurity projects. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to identify security needs, develop solutions, and ensure effective implementation.
Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document cybersecurity requirements.Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to identify security gaps.Solution Development:Analyze and evaluate cybersecurity solutions to meet business needs.Develop detailed project plans and timelines.Stakeholder Management:Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.Facilitate communication and ensure alignment of project goals.Risk Assessment:Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats.Develop mitigation strategies and ensure risk management compliance.Data Analysis:Analyze security data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.Project Management:Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity projects.Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and project outcomes.Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.Compliance and Auditing:Ensure projects comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.Support audits and compliance checks as needed.Training and Support:Provide training and support to staff on new cybersecurity policies and procedures.Ensure users understand their roles in maintaining security.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.Qualifications:Education:Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.Experience:Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the cybersecurity domain.Strong background in project management and stakeholder engagement.Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Certifications:Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CISSP, or PMP are preferred.
