Job Overview


OptimHire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our software development process. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and the employment type is full-time.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 4 to 6 years of experience in test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Test Automation tools, such as Botium, Selenium, and Appium.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to analyze software requirements and develop effective test strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Design and implement automated test scenarios to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze automated test results, identify and report defects.
  • Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and design test cases.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement in the software development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
