Positionsummary: AVG is looking to hire anexperienced finance professional to be based out of Kottayam Keralato head the finance function for all the group companies. Theperson will lead and manage all aspects of the finance functionincluding accounting finance and capital raising for the groupcompanies.

• Accounting:As part of the leadership team of the company build a strongF&A team and participate in the key strategicdecisionmaking process and enhance the quality of decisions byhighlighting financial implications of decisions. Have an oversighton the overall accountingfunction.
  

• InternalControls: Develop and maintain systems ofinternal controls to safeguard financial assets of theorganization.
  

• Compliances:Be responsible for tax compliances DirectTaxes as well as Indirect Taxes. Ensure compliance with local stateand statutory rules regulations tax and reporting requirements.
  

• Cashflow: Monitor cash flows to ensure healthyliquidity and short and long term sustainability of the companiesand take necessary measures to ensure availability of workingcapital.
  

• AR& AP: Oversee all purchasing andpayroll activity for staff and participants. Responsible forcollections. Assist in the design implementation and timelycalculations of wage incentives commissions and salaries for thestaff
  

• Systemsand Processes: Need to lead and improvisevarious systems and processes to strengthening those in line withbestpractices.
  

• Audits:Work closely with the internal andexternal auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issuesand gaps identified by the auditors. Oversee the coordination andactivities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues areresolved and all compliance issues are met and the preparation ofthe annual financial statements is in accordance with principles ofaccounting and other required supplementary schedules andinformation.
  

• Banking:Liaise with banks for limits constantly evaluate optimum andefficient bank funding and work with the management team forsuitable bankreporting.
  

• Commercial& Cost Control
  

• Drivecost control initiatives and enforce budget control to improve costefficiencies
  

• Driveorganization wide cost management strategies andinitiatives
  

• Workwith the business teams to support on the commercial aspects ofdealmaking
  

• Leadership
  

• Leadthe commercial/finance team managing and developing their skillspriorities anddirection
  

• Providefunctional direction guidance andsupport
  

• Monitorthe performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify keyperformers
  

• Mentorand develop the finance management team managing work allocationtraining performance evaluation and the building of a dynamic andeffectiveteam.
  

• Trainthe Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledgeof financial managementmatters.
  

• Ensurehigh level of employee engagement and retention of keyperformers
