About the Role Remote, Based in India. We’re seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support a major reporting migration from Tableau to Google Looker. This role focuses on designing and building scalable data models, data marts, and ETL/ELT pipelines to enable efficient reporting in Looker. You’ll collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and optimize performance for thousands of reports. What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data warehouse integration Develop and optimize Big Query (or equivalent) structures for reporting Collaborate with analysts to ensure data marts support Looker dashboards Create and maintain Look ML models and define the semantic layer in Looker Tune SQL queries for performance and scalability Ensure data integrity and consistency across migrated reports What We’re Looking For 4–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on Google Looker support Strong experience in data modeling and building data marts Proficiency in ETL/ELT pipeline development and SQL performance tuning Experience with Look ML and semantic layer design Familiarity with healthcare data and reporting requirements Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams $5.00 - $15.00 Per Hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA
