Upgame is a globally leading golf performance data company based in India, now acquired by Trackman, a Denmark based golf tech giant, with operations spread out worldwide. Our system simplifies stat keeping through a map-based data entry system, capturing unique metrics such as dispersions to targets/target lines. We provide actionable golf performance data to Coaches, competitive golfers, US colleges, academies and National Federations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Swift and Objective-C, a deep understanding of mobile design patterns, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment. As part of our development team, you will collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Work with external APIs and data sources.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in iOS development.- Ensure the applications meet user expectations and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of iOS applications.- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.- Strong understanding of UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and other iOS frameworks.- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries and APIs.- Experience with version control systems such as Git.- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, with the ability to work with designers to build intuitive user interfaces.- Familiarity with Auto Layout and Interface Builder.- Experience with unit testing and writing testable code.- Understanding of the App Store submission process and guidelines.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.- Good understanding of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Delegate.- Experience with Xcode and iOS development tools.- Knowledge of SwiftUI is a plus.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with multithreading and Concurrency in iOS.- Knowledge of Cloud services like Firebase or AWS.- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Experience in mobile game development or other advanced mobile features.- Knowledge of Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, or other dependency management tools.

Educational Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
