Position: Cloud Security Architect
Experience: 6+ years
Location: Hyderabad (Work From Office)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Security Architecture:

    • Design and implement robust cloud security architectures for Azure environments.
    • Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and frameworks.

  • Microsoft Azure:

    • Utilize deep knowledge of Azure services and features to secure cloud environments.
    • Implement security controls specific to Azure infrastructure, platforms, and services.

  • Security Controls:

    • Develop and enforce security controls to protect cloud-based assets.
    • Continuously monitor and improve security measures.

  • NIST and CIS Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with NIST and CIS standards and frameworks.
    • Implement controls and processes to adhere to these compliance requirements.

  • Threat Modeling:

    • Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
    • Develop strategies to address identified threats.

  • Security Incident Management:

    • Develop and implement incident management plans for cloud environments.
    • Lead response efforts to address and mitigate security incidents.

  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS):

    • Secure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments.
    • Ensure security practices are applied consistently across all service models.

  • Security Frameworks:

    • Implement and maintain security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
    • Ensure organizational alignment with these frameworks.

  • Vulnerability Management:

    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
    • Implement remediation strategies to address vulnerabilities.

  • Backup and Recovery:

    • Develop and manage backup and recovery plans for cloud environments.
    • Ensure data integrity and availability through robust recovery processes.

  • Security Policy Development:

    • Develop, implement, and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure policies are updated and reflect current best practices.

  • Security Assessments:

    • Conduct security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements based on assessment findings.

Requirements Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or a related role.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of security controls, NIST, and CIS compliance.
  • Proficiency in threat modeling and security incident management.
  • Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS security.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Strong skills in vulnerability management, backup and recovery, and security policy development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
