Job Description
We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch streaming experiences. This role involves developing and enhancing smart TV and mobile applications across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, Android TV, tvOS, FireTV, and WebOS. If you're passionate about creating responsive, high-quality applications and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code using TypeScript for React Native applications.
Collaborate within a cross-functional scrum team to design and implement innovative features.
Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across various devices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
Write and maintain automated tests to guarantee product robustness and reliability.
Conduct code reviews to enforce best practices and coding standards.
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in mobile and/or smart TV application development.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React Native for cross-platform applications.
Expertise in UI clarity, data management, and structured design.
Familiarity with state management libraries, including Zustand and Redux .
Experience in creating function-based React components and utilizing React hooks .
Testing experience with a focus on both component and end-to-end tests.
Knowledge of REST APIs , GraphQL , and offline storage mechanisms for data integration.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI or Bitbucket Pipelines) for automated testing and deployment.
Understanding of agile methodologies and software engineering lifecycle best practices.
The Successful Candidate Will Also Have:
Skills to write scalable code for medium to large React applications, with knowledge of state management best practices.
Experience with end-to-end testing suites like Detox or Appium.
Proficiency in developing Turbo and Fabric-based native modules for React Native.
Familiarity with JSDoc or TSDoc for thorough code documentation.
Competency in handling multi-platform monorepos .
Experience integrating video players and managing media codecs, container formats, and streaming protocols for mobile and smart TV apps.
Skills & Requirements
Core Skills: React Native, TypeScript, Zustand, Redux, Function-based React components, React hooks, REST APIs, GraphQL, Offline storage.
Testing & Deployment: End-to-end testing (Detox, Appium), CI/CD (CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines).
Additional Expertise: Turbo and Fabric-based native modules, JSDoc/TSDoc, Multi-platform monorepos, Video player integration, Media codecs, Container formats, Streaming protocols.
