Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including AR, AP, banking, payroll processing, and credit card reconciliations. Should know concepts (including but not limited to) of revenue accrual, revenue deferral, expense accrual, prepayments etc.

Candidate needs to handle sensitive financial information very meticulously and always adhere to organization’s SOP. Should have handled banking portal of multiple entities.

Should be able to handle, manage and oversee voluminous transactions, complex scenarios and should be able to communicate with different departments.

Should be able to handle month end, year end transactions and deal with Auditors (Big-4) on independent basis.

Candidate should have handled multiple entities in multiple currencies and should be known with parent-subsidiary workflow and related transfer pricing regulations.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with UK and US accounting standards and regulations.

Systems Proficiency:

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to maintain financial records, generate reports, and streamline financial processes. Experience of using Microsoft CRM and software like Qlik, Workday Adaptive will be add Ons.

Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge:

Stay updated on legal requirements and taxation systems in both the UK and the US, including VAT and Sales tax.

Should know VAT filing, Sales tax filing process and due dates. Should be able to prepare VAT, Sales tax reports and provide to Finance Controller for review and submission.

Implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.

Ideal candidate should have a hawk eye on the processes and should be able to identify loopholes in the system and place strong internal controls.

Strategic Financial Analysis:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making and planning.

Should be a team player who works along with team rather than working individually. Should be able to deal in faced paced, extreme deadline environment and should be able to handle pressure situations.

Backup Support:

Serve as a reliable backup to the Assistant Manager, providing support in their absence and demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Candidate should be proactive enough to understand and adapt all tasks quickly and take on tasks independently in a short matter of time. Ideal candidate should have a good vision eye to each task, able to prioritize matters and should be able to self-understand process flows.

Candidate should also be able to train freshers who join in newly and resolve queries of teammates.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

4-5 years of hands-on experience in UK-US accounting, with expertise in AR, AP, banking, payroll, and credit card management, parent-subsidiary structure, transfer pricing and multi-regional currency workflow.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft CRM or similar financial management software. Using software like Qlik, Workday Adaptive will be advantageous.

Strong understanding of legal compliance and taxation systems in both the UK and the US, including VAT and Sales Tax.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to train and develop a strong team who can grow up the ladder, manage team, resolve queries of teammates and handle all matters with utmost professionalism.

Should have handled audits with Big-4 organisations in UK and US.
