Description:We are seeking seasoned Online News Desk Journalists who can thrive under the pressure of a major newsroom. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in digital news publications and a keen sense of identifying and reporting news swiftly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the news desk, ensuring timely and accurate news coverage.Quickly turn around high-quality articles and headlines, maintaining impeccable language standards.Collaborate with editors and other journalists to ensure comprehensive news reporting.Stay abreast of current events and breaking news, providing prompt updates.Conduct thorough research and interviews to produce accurate and engaging news stories.Utilise digital tools and platforms for efficient news dissemination.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, media, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital news publication.Exceptional language skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong editorial judgement and a keen eye for detail.Proficiency with digital publishing tools and content management systems.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
