Job Summary:

The Shri Ram Universal School in North Bengaluru is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a deep understanding of child development, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.


Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities for pre-primary students.

- Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social development of young children.

- Observe and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.

- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of each child.

- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning through play-based and experiential learning activities.

- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and organize school events, field trips, and other activities.

- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships and support students’ development.

- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.


Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

- Relevant teaching certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education.

- Proven experience working with young children in a pre-primary or early childhood setting.

- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.


Desirable Qualifications:

- Experience with play-based and experiential learning methodologies.

- Familiarity with the early childhood education framework and guidelines.

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
