Python Developer Interns

who are passionate about
capital markets, quantitative research, and algorithmic trading.

Roles and Responsibilities:

During your internship, you will be expected to contribute to the following activities:

Code Development and System Architecture:

  • Write efficient and scalable code to analyze multiple Indian equities simultaneously.
  • Develop robust code architectures for trading systems that support maintainable and optimized execution.
  • Build modular and extensible components for data ingestion, processing, and trade execution pipelines.

Economic Analysis and Market Integration:

  • Implement functions to incorporate custom economic indicators for predicting market trends.
  • Integrate macroeconomic data for more accurate modeling of equity market behaviors.

Backtesting and Performance Optimization:

  • Conduct comprehensive backtesting of pre-defined trading strategies using historical data.
  • Optimize system components for better performance and speed in real-time environments.

Data Handling:

  • Clean, preprocess, and organize extensive datasets using tools like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Ensure data accuracy by implementing robust validation pipelines.

AI and Machine Learning Integration:

  • Use AI and machine learning techniques to enhance system intelligence and adaptability.
  • Build predictive models for market inefficiency detection and risk mitigation.

Risk Management System (RMS) Development:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive RMS to manage potential market risks and protect investments.
  • Develop alerts and mechanisms to handle market anomalies.

Testing and Debugging:

  • Create and execute test cases for trading system components to ensure system reliability.
  • Perform unit and integration testing for error handling and system stability.

End-to-End System Development:

  • Build complete trading systems for predefined strategies from scratch, encompassing all development phases: system conceptualization, architecture design, coding, testing, optimization, and deployment for live trading environments.

Live Trading Support:

  • Maintain, refine, and monitor trading systems during live trading sessions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth execution of strategies in real-time.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of
    Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, GitHub).
  • Interest in
    financial markets, equity trading, and quantitative finance.
  • Exposure to
    AI/ML techniques

(preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and debugging skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and attention to detail.
