This role is pivotal in shaping our enterprise architecture, driving modern software engineering practices, and embedding DevSecOps across the organization. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that power our digital insurance platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team of 150+ professionals.- Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s digital transformation goals.- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Enterprise Architecture- Own and evolve the enterprise architecture to support scalability, agility, and resilience.- Ensure alignment between business goals and technology architecture.- Drive adoption of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven systems.Software Engineering Excellence- Establish and enforce best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.- Champion agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.- Ensure high code quality, performance, and maintainability across all products.DevSecOps & Security- Integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle.- Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, compliant, and auditable systems.- Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., IRDAI).People & Delivery Management- Build and scale engineering teams with a focus on talent development and retention.- Oversee project delivery, resource planning, and performance management.- Drive engineering KPIs such as velocity, quality, uptime, and customer satisfaction.Qualifications & Experience- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.- Proven experience in leading large-scale engineering teams (100+ people).- Strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern tech stacks.- Deep understanding of DevSecOps, agile delivery, and secure coding practices.- Experience in BFSI or insurance domain is highly desirable.Preferred Skills- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.- Passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.How to Apply:If you are excited to be part of a team dedicated to innovation and excellence, please submit your resume.
