Job Description – PHP Developer (Laravel) Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 3-5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in backend development using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and PostgreSQL , along with a passion for building scalable, efficient, and secure web applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP (Laravel framework) . Design and optimize databases in MySQL and PostgreSQL for performance and scalability. Implement and customize features using Laravel Filament for faster and efficient development. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services as required. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Required Skills (Must Have) Strong programming skills in PHP with expertise in the Laravel framework . Solid understanding of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization. Hands-on experience with Laravel Filament (secondary but required skill). Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs. Good to Have (Preferred Skills) Knowledge of Python for scripting or backend tasks. Experience with third-party integrations and API development/integration . Familiarity with payment gateway integration (e.G., Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with proven project exposure.
