Job Description
The Technical Forensic Analyst provides specialized technical expertise in the analysis and interpretation of forensic evidence. This role involves utilizing advanced forensic techniques, maintaining forensic equipment, and ensuring quality assurance to support to the technical department
Functions
Operation, calibration, and maintenance of forensic instruments and equipment.
Conduct satisfactory demonstrations of forensic instruments and equipment in various departments.
Immediate Hiring Locations (1-2 candidates per location)
Ahmedabad for Gujarat and West region
Bengaluru for Karnataka and south region
Responsibilities
To ensure demonstrations successfully performed and closed within a specified time frame.
To effectively and efficiently use and maintain forensic instruments and equipment in various departments without altering or damaging it.
To submit the evaluation of the clarity, completeness, and professionalism of forensic equipment.
Should comply with established forensic procedures, guidelines, and legal standards.
Should participate in relevant training programs, certifications earned, and staying current with developments in forensic tools and techniques.
Should take feedback from internal or external clients on the analyst's professionalism, communication, and responsiveness.
Giving demonstrations on the instruments, tools, or software used in forensic investigations. This responsibility is important for several reasons:
Providing demonstrations helps educate colleagues, law enforcement personnel, legal teams, or clients on how to use forensic tools effectively.
Introducing new or updated forensic instruments allows stakeholders to understand their capabilities and potential applications in investigations.
To ensure that users understand how to properly use the instruments, including techniques for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
By showcasing the features and benefits of forensic instruments, analysts help customers to make informed decisions about their adoption and integration into investigative processes.
During demonstrations, analysts should address questions, concerns, and provide clarifications regarding the use, limitations, and potential outcomes of using the instruments.
To gather feedback during demonstrations, which can be valuable for improving the usability, effectiveness, and efficiency of forensic instruments.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Forensic Science or a related field.
Degree from a recognized Forensic Science University.
Core Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with forensic laboratory equipment and instruments.
Must have 5-7 years of experience in the same feild.
