Generative ai engineer

BCI is looking for Senior Gen AI Engineer / Developer with a strong Python background to join an ongoing project for our direct client in the USA. You will join an offshore team that is growing and there is a lot of new and exciting work to be completed. This is a full-time position and must be able to work a blended hours of EST / IST timings. Client offshore team is in Hyderabad. Position can be 100% remote if unable to relocate. Your expertise in Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) will be needed to help create original content—such as text, images, video, audio or software code—in response to a user’s prompt or request. You'll work in an Agile software development environment supporting requirements/story development, software architecture and design, software development, and unit/component testing.Skills & Qualifications:*Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in AI/ML, with a focus on generative models.*2 years of proven Gen AI systems development is requiredAdvanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and other AI frameworks is required.Currently have developed and deployed at least 1 Gen AI system that is live and in production with large user base interacting with the system.Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing AI projects in real-world settings.Experience with API, batch solutions and understanding use cases for document solutionsUnderstanding of parallelization in Python, prompt templates, patterns, and key components.Understanding of threads and concurrency in Python.Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest).Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS).Advance Proficiency in foundation models in AWS.Experience REST API libraries and frameworks such as Fastapi.Design and develop prompt engineering techniques to optimize Gen AI performance.Evaluate and select appropriate models, frameworks, and techniques for Gen AI use case.Hands-on experience with experience with open source multi-modal LLMs frameworks such as Lang Chain or Llama Index.Knowledge of Streamlit framework is a plus.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git Hub, Git Lab).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.Familiar with Design Patterns and natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision technologiesBachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related field with 3-5+ years of experience working as a software engineer, including prior experience developing AI solutions*Interview process*1.
