Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Android Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile applications. This position is ideal for a technically adept professional with a passion for innovation, leadership, and building high-performance Android experiences. You will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge applications using modern frameworks like Jetpack Compose, while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. Your expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and GATT protocols will be instrumental in enabling seamless device connectivity. With a strong foundation in clean architecture and a commitment to code excellence, you will help set technical standards and ensure the delivery of robust, maintainable software on time and with precision. Location: Pune Experience: 5-8 years Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using modern tools and frameworks, with a primary focus on Jetpack Compose. • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features from concept to production. • Implement and manage device connectivity using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and GATT APIs, including scanning, pairing, and real-time data exchange. • Lead and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices, code quality, and continuous learning within the team. • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to industry-standard architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture. • Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold high development standards and foster team-wide technical growth. • Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and project outcomes. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges in a timely and effective manner. Requirements Requirements: • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android development with deep knowledge of the Android SDK and core platform concepts. • Expertise in Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices, including state management and UI composition. • Proven experience working with BLE and GATT APIs, including device discovery, connection management, and data transmission. • Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar, with a focus on maintainability and scalability. • Proficient in Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming and reactive data handling. • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks to ensure code reliability and quality. • Familiarity with health-related APIs or applications is a strong advantage. • Skilled in using version control (Git), project management tools (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including project ownership, team guidance, and the ability to lead by example. • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
