As our AWS Cloud Engineer, you'll:

- Building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, Kafka, Lambda, EC2, EKS, Appsync, amplify and RDS.- Developing end-to-end backend integration workflows via REST API and GraphQL to support our web and mobile app development.- Leveraging Amazon OpenSearch to create dashboards and optimize searches effectively.- Leading the design and development of highly scalable, robust, and secure cloud-based applications and data analytics solutions on the AWS platform.- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.- Evaluating business requirements and translating them into detailed technical solutions and architecture.- Championing the adoption of best practices in cloud security, architecture, and AWS services.- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, data engineers, security experts, and business analysts, to deliver integrated solutions.- Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 is a plus.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

- Strong proficiency with AWS services, particularly AWS API Gateway, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, Lambda, and optionally Kafka.- Substantial development and data ingestion experience using Python and SQL.- Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.- Ability to optimize data querying performance using DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch while ensuring data integrity and security compliance.- Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management.- A commitment to staying up-to-date with AWS service updates and emerging cloud technologies.
