Role Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Magento Developer (Full-Stack) to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, with a deep understanding of Magento 2, eCommerce and the latest web technologies. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Magento eCommerce websites that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Magento Development : Design, develop, and customize Magento 2 themes and modules to meet client requirements.

Frontend Development : Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Backend Development : Develop and optimize Magento backend features, including custom extensions, API integrations, and database management.

Performance Optimization : Monitor and improve website performance, scalability, and security, ensuring fast load times and a seamless shopping experience.

Third-Party Integration : Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and CRM systems with Magento.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Troubleshooting and Support : Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges in a timely manner.

Version Control : Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with other team members on code management. Proficient in using docker.

Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all development processes and changes made to the platform.

Experience :

2+ years of experience in Magento 2 development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Frontend: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout.js, and responsive design principles.

Backend : Strong experience with PHP, MySQL, and custom Magento module development.

eCommerce Knowledge: In-depth understanding of eCommerce best practices, SEO, and conversion optimization.

Tools : Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Composer, and Magento CLI.

Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Certifications : Magento certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development skills
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming skills
• E-Commerce expertise
• Experience with Magento 2 and PHP
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in git, docker, CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment
